The three were NKY born-and-raised, so they had a passion for Southern BBQ, but they loved mixing in the delicious flavor influences of New Orleans, where Mitch had built his reputation for culinary excellence.

While at Wooden Cask, we had to try out Beards and Bellies. It was delicious! We had 1/4 lb pulled pork, chopped brisket, Mac n cheese with poblano peppers, and Trio. Trio was 3 sliders- everything was sooo delicious! I highly recommend all these dishes! Can't wait to come back!
We came across the Beards & Bellies BBQ food truck at an event. It smelled and looked good, so we got a selection of items to try: pork and chicken sliders, mac 'n cheese, and green beans. Everything was quite tasty and filling.
First off, the whole experience was amazing because the guy at the counter had such a great demeanor and loved to talk food. Secondly, we wanted to order literally everything but there is only two of us...
This place is inside the Woodcask Brewery. I was at the brewery for a couple of beers. Was looking at the menu they had some good choices. But I wasn't really that hungry so I decided on a bowl of chili. I ask how spicy it was, they let me try a sample and man was it good.
Was scrolling through Yelp when this place popped up. Only had one review, but was super positive so figured I'd give it a shot. Let me just say that I'm super glad that I did! Some of the best BBQ that I've ever had.
